Patterson right couloir had sloughed earlier in the week leaving a bit of a gnarly crust on the surface that wasn't particularly fun to ski. The fan skied well. High westerly winds observed at the end of the day (see picture) with numerous spindrifts off the alpine faces above the run.
Bootpack was crusty on surface but easy to break through to 4 finger snow (faceted?) below. Mid-coulour pit on 38 deg slope yielded CT15 RP and CT24 RP but some might argue these were SP...
