Went for a ski to snow camp and noted no signs of instability. However, there were many natural avalanches that had occurred tbrough out the bowl. Most of them appeared to our group as wet loose avalanches as they seemed to have been started at rocky points. Some seemed fairly old some a bit newer it was hard to judge. The first skier cautiously entered to perform a ski cut, and instantly cracks shot out and the slab ripped away. Hard to say the exact size but I would estimate between 1 to 1.5. Judging by how easy and how quickly the slab let loose. I would describe it as very unstable. The new snow from last week was on the rain crust from ~ last Wednesday / Thursday and was not well bonded. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the avalanche except for the GoPro footage I would have from making the ski cut, but haven’t had a chance to download them and wanted to post this asap to give people a heads up that the snow pack is sketchy, I did take a few pictures of other avalanches around snow camp with my phone and have uploaded those.
