RNC Gully

Did some laps yesterday and today on RNC Gully area. Snow was good. Some shooting cracks while decending but no whumphing or movement. On Saturday there was a thin wind slab that cracked and broke but didn’t propagate on steep sections. Today we noticed surface hoar on open non wind affected slopes. Large areas of it from 2-3mm in the trees to 4-5mm at top of tree line. Photo is from in the tree line. May have gotten one small whumpf on the way down but no other signs of instability.
