Rolling Hills .... east of Fernie

Cruised around (carefully!) thru 25cm of nice light pow on a bearing raincrust on v low angle slopes dodging stumps + rocks. Scratched out a hasty “pit” at 1950m on low angle (10 deg) west facing aspect, below treeline but in sparsely treed area = HS 50 - 75 = 25cm (Fist) unconsolidated snow over = 20cm (pencil) raincrust-layercake (26 nov?) right down to ground = 5cm of slightly less dense moist facets at ground = two moderate shears within the unconsolidated snow at 15cm and 20cm = no recent wind effect = 0 to -2, sunny day, but no warming affect on surface
