Excellent riding above 1700m. Even better at 2000m.
Probably the most shooting cracks in a day I've ever seen.
20-30cm of storm snow sits on 2-3cms of hoarfrost, which is then on a 2-3cm rain crust. It seemed extremely reactive, and the storm snow showed a lot of slab properties. Very touchy layers on top so we kept it very mellow.
Great riding and good condition if you suffer the firm roads in. Fingers crossed it doesn't warm up too much.
