Matier Glacier

Skied Hartzell and Spetch. Boilerplate crust to ridge top! Hoped for softening but got none all day. 5-10cm boot pen on the glacier and a cold wind up high. Awful skiing, but fast travel. Booted from the road to the top of the glacier with boot crampons. Joffre lakes trail just as awful as you’d expect, but nice and fast to skate across the lakes. Enjoy the views at least!
