Tent Ridge

Skied the far skiers left side of the NE bowl at tent ridge in the open trees. HS150 at 2100m BTL. HS200 at 2300m on lee slope below ridge. F to 4F in the top 50cm. Mid pack generally 1F. Not much wind affect up to 2300m in sheltered terrain, started to notice it above 2300m in open trees. Calm at this location today. -5 degrees at 2pm. Ski pen 30cm. Excellent ski quality, particularly in sheltered trees. Pit and probing at 2300m revealed a 15cm 1F wind slab down 55cm. No results on this layer. Did get CTM4 BRK down 30cm. Observed a skier triggered size 2 in avalanche track further south along tent ridge. Probably triggered on Dec 28. See picture.
