Up in the Forster area for a sled-ski day. The wind was the major notable factor having affected any unprotected surfaces. We ventured up into some protected trees looking for some quality turns, and given the sunny day, ended up continuing our climb into the alpine until we could see over into the Lead Queen valley (very cool!). Unfortunately the wind was pretty extreme making for alpine survival skiing. Did not dig a pit but would note that we did not see any natural or sled/ski triggered avy activity. The snowpack seemed very consolidated except the wind slabs of course. Happy new years.
