Beautifull day in the backcountry with -8 degrees Celsius at 0956 at 2028m at TL.
We heard a couple of Whoumfs while stepping on small buried trees skinning up. We saw 2 size 2-2.5 wind slab avalanches on SE aspects in the alpine that were probably about 48h old with the last storm. No signs of new avalanches from the day.
Skied NE, E and SE slopes from TL to BTL. Found a sun crust on SE aspects starting to get thicker but not affecting the skiing to much yet. The rest of the aspects were deep powder turns.
