Rohr Lake area

A quickly dug pit on a south facing slope showed the Jan/Feb rain crust buried ~60 cm down with mostly loose to moderatly cohesive snow on top. A compressional test produced a failure on the rain crust after >5 taps from elbow. We experienced whumpfing close by on the same aspect.
