Ptarmigan Pass

While we did not observe any recent avalanche activity, lee(east and south) slopes and ridge lines were all heavily loaded. We observed large cornices and large cornice breaks throughout the alpine. Sheltered south facing bowls are beginning to show effects from that warm March sun..
