Sweet 16

It was deeeeep. Average of 40cm of fist snow on a crust on the way up. Up to 50cm fist deep snow in sweet 16 itself. Snow was soft on all aspects, no sign of windslab but lots available for transport if winds pick up. No signs of instability where we travelled. Observed a size 2 natural slab avalanche on an East face on the way up. Looked like a soft slab, likely triggered by a dry loose from above. Other than that, fair amount of loose dry out of steep slopes.
