Travel was from Soldier Hollow to Cascade Springs and north toward the Ant Knolls and down into Snake Creek. Continued observations of the avalanche cycle (17th/18th - though some uncertainty of timing) in the Provo area mountains and southern Wasatch back with many slopes in the transition mid-upper elevations with crowns a couple feet deep. Crowns observed on steep northeast to east to southeast facing slopes and more readily observed in the Mill Canyon peak complex. Photos below (Woody). Ski tracks noted in the very steep terrain in the Ant Knolls, but later noted that the slope had avalanched - and filled back in - previous to the tracks.
Snowpack
Snow surfaces weakening with the clear and cold. SH to 10mm even noted along ridgelines to 8500'.
