Surface Hoar and faceted snow quickly forming on the snow surfaces...travel was to 10,400' below the Cascade ridgeline. While a number of 1-2' deep storm snow naturals were noted from the last storm cycle, stability has greatly improved in the Provo area mountains. Total depths above 9500' were in the 4-6' range. Good coverage, even at the low elevations.
