* While touring, observed a recent avalanche on a northern facing aspect west of the Finley mine road, upper brownie creek road intersection. * Temperature was around 30 degrees with heavy precipitation and light winds (15-20 mph). * Snow conditions looked like a soft powder layer with a heavy wet layer directly below it. * Red flags in the area were cornice formations on many of the north facing aspects, recent cracking, heavy snow and multiple recent avalanches.

Observed at 11SKC 7201 4603. Elevation 9,479’. North facing aspect. 30 degree slope angle. about 100 m from Finley mine road. Slab about 75 m wide broke off.
