Made a pit on two seperate aspects today. South/west and North/East both near the junction of Finley mine road and hwy 108. South/West aspect 80cms till I hit the ground. Pretty dense under the most recent powder layer. With a thick rain layer 20cms from the top. Couldn't get anything to go with my compression test. North/East Aspect 120cms to the ground with much looser snow through out in comparison to the southern aspect with a faceted layer still occurring right above ground level. Column collapsed at that bottom layer on tap 26 in my compression test
