Location Leavitt lake: 11S KC 71285 39604 Time of observation: 1:00pm March 16th 2023 Weather: clear skies, no precipitation, calm winds 2-6mph, temperature 34°F. Snowpack test: compression test at 9620ft on north facing aspect at 345° grid, slope angle 18° total pit depth 165cm. Results: CTH 26 Resistant Planar Q2 at 45cm deep, column did not slide after an additional 4 hits, column only slid after putting pressure behind it with shovel. Preformed an extended column test after and experienced the same results.
