-
Lots of cracking. No huge red flags but if it keeps snowing into saturday at a little more than average it could be enough of a slab.

Lots of wet snow again today. Sorry no Photos to wet. This melt crust is quite interesting It might be a rain crust from the last weekends storm (12/10). I was surprised at how dry the snow was under this crust. In some places the crust wants to stay in tact but in others it just shatters like a pane of glass. I am not sure how a load will sit on this layer and if it will have any propagation propensity.

-
Wind was blowing with drifting snow again today. Surprise 8" in some places.

Did not look on any other aspect than south really today. Did not find much for the persistent layer but It might still live on other parts of compass.

On all south aspects from 6800-8000 I found a Melt Freeze crust from the sun on Monday. Under this crust is dry light snow that is easy to collapse.
