Reports of a large natural avalanche cycle with soft slab avalanches failing on facets and buried surface hoar throughout the Salt Lake, Ogden, and Provo forecast region. These avalanches were noted from November 27-29, 2004 in all areas of the forecast region and noted as widespread occurring during the storm.
