Avalanche Gulch and Hidden Valley

Observed snow coverage on the south and west sides of the mountain before the midweek storm.  Minimal snow coverage exists below treeline. In general, coverage increases with elevation and on more northerly facing slopes. Upper elevation gullies and leeward features appear to hold the most snow. Some starting zones above treeline hold continuous enough snow to act as a future bed surface. Despite an active early season, low-tide conditions prevail on this side of the mountain.
