Not a lot to note today. We did dig a pit at 8,400 ft. No notable pit results. There are two melt freeze crust with decent failure on Compression Tests but no results on ECT.

<p>I think that issues at lower elevation are far more dangerous than any issue above 7700 ft. Very wet snow below 7,700 ft. Lots of roller balls. Could not create any pushalanches though.</p> <p>Wind slabs and some suspect snowpack structure but no great pit results. </p>

Damp Snow Surface.  West Aspect has a number of melt freeze crusts.
