Quick report
Pleasantly surprised by the morning clouds which kept snow surfaces cool for the first half of the day. Once the clouds started to part the snow on south and SE aspects warmed up as expected. Exposed upper elevation N through E facing terrain presented with heavily drifted snow (soft slab) from Thursdays' winds. Unable to provoke cracks more than a few ft in this freshly drifted snow. We stayed off of steep slopes with any consequence, but really couldn't produce any signs of instability on test slopes other than the predictable wet slide concern on solar aspects. Notably, another party reported wet loose activity on W and SW slopes later in the afternoon over towards Hall that had covered their tracks from the AM.

Multiple small wet loose sluffs on this S facing aspect off the E ridge of Six Mile. A couple pulled out small storm slabs lower down. All ran mid-day once the clouds broke.
