- <p>Went out to dig a snowpit on a southeast-facing slope at about 8500' in elevation. After seeing recent observations from S/SE, I figured it would be advantageous to add to the data. Stability tests resulted in CTN, and ECTP21 failing on faceted grains on top of a melt-freeze crust. </p>
