Quick report

I forgot to add something to the picture for scale, nor do I know much about snow layers, but here's what I saw in the flat part of the basin: About 2 ft deep total, 12-14 inches of base, 3-4 inches of frozen (melt-freeze crust?), and another 4-5 inches of new powder. There were several areas in the basin of wind-driven crust. I imagine up the slopes there is some significant melt and wind crust.
