Nice weather today. Surface conditions were surprisingly still lighter snow after yesterdays warmer temperatures/ sunlight and last nights cooler temperatures. Attached pictures of our snow pit and snow pilot results. We did notice small wet natural avalanches occurring at the upper elevations of cutler basin head wall South & south east facing aspects originating at the exposed cliffs. see attached picture. a clarification for the snow pilot profile which is attached. the PST should have been noted to be a 70/100 End which occurred at a depth of 157cm.
we did notice a crust starting to develop at the lower elevations with E and SE facing aspects.
