This new snow avalanche off the rock slabs above Ivory Flakes looked to be quite fresh but the timing is unknown. My best guess is it happened either after the recent storm and NE wind event, or today with the heating of the sun on the rock slabs, the Powder Birds probably have a time line for it, crown was about 12 to 18 inches deep and about 70ft wide. Might have been a wind slab formed by the NE winds on Tuesday but not sure.
