Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Isolated cracking of the recent storm/wind deposited snow (4 inch slabs). Signs of wind deposition on most aspects including north facing slopes above treeline. Widespread wind slabs on North/north east slopes were not triggered by ski cuts- but we were surprised by their location- and therefore cautious. Warming of SW aspects late in the day (6 pm) and snow felt slushy- but no rollerballs nor other signs of instability observed.
