Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
Triggered several small soft slabs 4-6” deep along the ridgeline from 9,500’-10,000’. Sluggish and not running far, but one propagated about 20 feet across a small gully feature. Hard to call any even D1 in size. Reactivity was isolated to wind loaded pockets.

Mostly cloudy with areas of fog/low clouds. Light to moderate W/NW wind along the ridgetop at 10,000'. Calm below the ridgeline.
Snowpack
Fairly reactive in windloaded areas for only 2 inches of new snow. Not a great sign regarding the weak snow in the upper snowpack. We’ll see how things shake out when a real storm hits the Tetons, but certainly worth keeping the recently buried surface on the radar.
The snowpack below 8,500 is mostly faceted on shaded slopes.
