Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
Heard people had seen some shooting cracks so were aware there was potential for storm slab. Skied a steep but small open slope out of trees at top, snow was light and deep, no cracking or slabbiness observed but we planned to keep an eye out and take stops especially as we got into the open glades. Next steep open convex feature got a small size 1 to go. Run length was minimal and snow light it was hard to differentiate from ski sluff except for the crown Second skier skied further skiers right to a lower angle slope and the initial crown propagated a bit more. Amazing skiing. We decided not to ski a steeper run on showboat on our next lap just in case.
