Quick report
Skier Triggered avalanche on the NW face of captains Chair from first skier on slope. Crown depth was between 8-16 inches. No red flags where observed during traveling. Appeared to have failed on facet layer buried during the last snowfall. A pit dug at 2600ft on an E facing slope had 20cm on new snow on top of 10cm of wind board with 10cm of facets below it. ECTP21 on the facet layer.
