Observed widespread cracking in the storm snow. The snowpack appeared to become slightly less reactive as the storm progressed, however the storm slab was rapidly increasing in depth.

While skiing a treed ridge I remotely triggered a D1 soft storm slab from approximately 30’ away. I estimated it to be a foot deep at the deepest part of the crown.
