Quick report

Toured up under clear skies to 1,500ft just south of Goose Bay. Several slab avalanches we noted on 4/12 were fully buried under new snow by 4/19. Snow was wet to around 700 feet, transitioning to moist above. We found good riding conditions through the upper snowpack. Two pits at ~1,400 feet showed solid structure and a lack of energy in the snowpack; both ECTs produced no results. Snow was skiable all the way back to the waterline.

Numerous natural wet loose avalanches observed early in the day on S and W facing slopes above 800ft. Later in the day we were triggering wet loose with our tracks on steeper slopes.
