Quick report
2-3 inches of new snow at the highway. No signs of instability observed on the tour yesterday. A hand pit was dug at 1900 ft and it collapsed on isolation below the first crust. Performed an ECT at 2100 ft with no results (ECTX), I found 3 ice layers in the snowpack with significant faceting bordering on depth hoar between the crusts. Ski conditions were poor, the snow has been blown away in many places on the decent leaving the breakable crust exposed. Yuck.
