Quick report
- Collapsing
- Observed
Not much to report with snowfall as all there has been in the past 24 hours out here is a trace, or maybe ½" by now, but the wind has been horrid and today's high temperature is just 8ºF so far. I literally got blown over skiing this morning. The new snow from the day before has formed its own layer and very prone to slide on any hard surface (picture attached), but in the meantime the snowpack has been collapsing underneath it so there is a double whammy. But wind loading is the big issue. billy
