Backside of high east Eaglecrest

Toured from ridge hike out Eaglecrest up and left out high east above bb chair and skied the backside in the sun. The only instability were small wet loose avalanche snow from trees. Wind affected /sastrugi at the top around 2900 ft and good skiing farther down towards the lake. Calm winds, blue skies and beautiful day out. 

We dug a snow pit , SE, 28 degrees, ECTX , many layers as pictured below.
