One skier in my party triggered a small slide in the new snow during a period of very high precipitation. The crown was about 6" where it was triggered but most of the crown was much smaller, perhaps just 2". One skier (who triggered it) was caught and took a short ride an able to arrest.
Sorry, no photo. Everyone was very cold in the blowing snow.
