The snow surface fractured as I approached the jump in the 4th Toll Bowl.
The fractured snow slid off the jump and hit the slope below. The debris field was 50 meters long and 20 meters wide. The avalanche did not run the full length of the slope which is between 35 and 40 degrees.
The resulting crown at the top of the jump was 35cm in height and 8 meters wide.
There were no other dangerous signs apart from two large Meese on the side of the skin track.
