Quick report
As part of an avy II course we performed CT and ECT tests at the base of Hillman's. The location chosen was at the base of the runout in the trees to shelter from the prevailing winds. There we recorded fist soft snow down to 20cm, at which point there is the January rain crust. Below this there is 70cm of pencil hard wind slab resting on a fist hard faceted layer down at 1m. On 2 CT we were unable to generate any collapse (CTNx2). However on ECT we did have sudden collapse on the 1m faceted layer on tap 24 (ECTP 24)
