Traveled uphill to practice snow assessment in an AIARE 1 course (HH, CT, ECT). Very stable, no noticeable fracture points in any of the tests. New old snow interface on average is at 90cm from surface. We found a generally strong snowpack, no underlying concerns in this area for future storms. Mix of rain and snow throughout the morning, tapering off to just rain at 3pm. Winds picked up at around the same time. Travel was easy and enjoyable on the up and down. Have fun, stay dry!
