In the bowl it was moderately windy with snow actively falling and accumulating. When skinning to the mouth of right gully, isolated snow cracking under ski was observed. Cracks were 2.5-4cm deep. We dug a pit at the mouth of right gully and found impenetrable icy surface 90cm down. With three taps on the shovel, swinging from the elbow, two unique layers were identified. We boot packed to the top choke in right gully and had a great ski out, mostly on soft textured snow and some piles of wind blown fresh snow.
