Jefferson Ravine (Evidence of historic avalanche)

At the base of Jefferson Ravine we saw a very large pile of old debris and many flattened trees, the debris even went slightly up the other side of the ravine. The avalanche likely happened during the cycle in which Tuckerman Ravine and Hillmans experienced D4 avalanches. No evidence of a crown line was still visible but it likely came from Stealth Gully and other variations on the Headwall.
