Snowpack
HS 30cm. Wet. Actively raining and above freezing temps. Facets and melt freeze crust close to ground (1F). Gradually became softer and more saturated towards the snow surface (4F-Fist). About mid-pack we found buried surface hoar. Shovel shear after CT showed a mostly linear failure plane with protected Surface Hoar crystals.
