The concern with the snowpack was a very large temperature gradient we measured in the top 15 cm of the snowpack. Based on the thick crust, the weak snow beneath the crust was just starting to facet. This will be a layer of concern when we add more snow on top of this.
Snowpack
A light dusting of new snow on top of a (surprisingly) supportable crust.
