Quick report

Very low vis day. Ended up South of Rainbow Ridge staying low enough for the alders to guide the way. Unsurprisingly there was little snow, with most of the area wind scoured. We were able to find a gulley with enough snow to ski as we hiked up the ridge next to it. Then stuck to low angle hills near the road. We did see an old avalanche. West of the Creek, 3,500' , SE Aspect, Week+ old. SS-N-D1.5-G (Soft Slab, Natural Trigger, Small/med size, Broke at the Ground) It was a good reminder that even in this area that has very little snow the right conditions can be still create avalanches. Weather: Strong Wind, Light Snowfall, Moderate Snow Transport, Overcast.
