Avalanche
We skied in Saturday under warm temps. We saw wet loose slides. We attempted Rum Doodle Saturday afternoon but turned around due to heavy wet rain/snow causing rollers. The disability decreased in the evening and wind picked up at 8pm. Sunday Morning at tried again as the temp had dropped, creating an ice crust down low. We used terrain to mitigate avalanche concerns, but as we approached the summit we felt a few wwhhmphs. We descended after these and as the visibility turned poor. We survival skied as best we could before plunge stepping. Broke camp and skinned out. We saw all conditions and weather. Skiing was poor. Wet loose slides on North facing slopes were common during warmed Saturday.
