Sleeping Beauty

Skied Sleeping Beauty NE face. Supportive 10cm thick rain crust to 1100m. 10-15cm powder on non-direct solar slopes to the summit at 1800m. No evidence of recent slab activity. Temperatures were mild, wind light out of east, sky clear. Breakable crust was mostly gone by mid afternoon, on steep slopes was easy to get loose wet point releases moving. Great spring skiing.
