Skier triggered avalanche noted on Cardiac Ridge (photo below). The party will no doubt have more details. Only other activity noted was new snow size 1 dry loose snow sluffs. We did not experience any cracking or collapsing in our travels.

Many steep lines skiied on all aspects but the large size 2.5 off the Cardiac Ridge was noteworthy. Looker's left and a few hundred feet below the uppermost crown was a natural (see color coding) from late Wednesday or early Thursday (had a few inches of new snow on debris).

Profile on easterly facing slope @ 10k yielded 75cm of settled storm snow above a mf crust. ECTX; CT29Q2 on thin facets beneath a 2cm thick mf crust.

Snowpack

5 star riding conditions. Early morning mid-level stratus deposited 1-2cm+ surface hoar along ridgelines. Solars became damp and will be crusted in the morning: just enough sun to dampen the snow but not enough for more than a few very minor wet sluffs in steep rocky terrain.
