Quick report

I biked almost all the way into the Paulina Horse Campground before transitioning to skinning. Snow surface was all firm melt freeze crusts in the morning and sunniest slopes were softening by mid-day. Fairly good corn skiing on the NE bowls as long as you carefully avoid the melted out rocks. It's possible that some of these slopes are warming enough to lead to some small wet loose activity in the later afternoon, but I did not observe any signs of wet loose activity. Coverage is definitely getting low on N aspects, especially below treeline where the warmth trapped by the trees has melted out much of the snow. After ripping the open corn faces, slow down and be very cautious in the trees!
