Quick report

Cracking
widespread
Collapsing
widespread

We observed widespread fractures and propagation above 4800’ on NW-SE aspects in the Tombstone Pass area. We triggered hard wind slabs and numerous soft storm slabs. All D1 but with potential for horrendous consequences given the terrain. Wind slabs were ~40cm thick, storm slabs were consistently 10-15cm thick.

Avalanche

D1-R5 on small features, R2 on large features (terrain-dependent).
