Quick report
Decided to have a slackcountry day off the Hemlock Ridge to see how the snow fared in low angle terrain. The North side of the Hemlock Ridge had collected a considerable amount of soft snow from the previous storm and winds giving us an occasional boottop to knee deep walk along the ridgeline. The skiing on the NNW slope was enjoyable with a few patches of windboard on the more exposed upper portions turning to fun lowangle turns as we dropped in elevation. Any aspect facing W or SW had a zipper suncrust. The return skin was unremarkable and easygoing through mainly soft snow
